Keeping Cool!

Every room has an air conditioning unit and ceiling fan.

 

Air conditioning

The air conditioning is efficient although we do recommend keeping the curtains closed during the day as the sun is HOT...HOT...HOT!!!  We tend to turn the units off when we are out as they cool everything down quickly when they are on.

You can turn the units down at night to a minimum fan setting which keeps the room cool.  It is really just trial-and-error to work out the right level for you.

 

The units power-on either with the remote control or with a button on the right-hand side of the main unit.  Temperature and power is controlled with the remote control.

 

The remote for the back bedroom on the 1st Floor doesn't work so we have asked Dale to get another one.  Until then, the way to control it is with the button on the right-hand side.

Ceiling Fans

Ceiling fans are controlled by a switch by each bed.  They basically turn up/down with the dial.  The on/off switch doesn't seem to have any effect!
