Messing about on the River!

Co-operative boats.

They run daily to the beach (about 35 minutes). The morning boats start early and go when they are full. They start to come back from the beach from 1pm. Head down to the river where all the boats are and you will see the sign for the next board that's going. 
 

Private Boats.

You can hire a boat for the day. Make sure you use a company with a boat that can go on the sea and not just the river. Normally then head in the direction of the beach and then out to sea. They will pull into two or three small bays where you can swim. Food and tea is included in the price.  Soft and alcoholic drinks are extra. 
At one of the bays, the captain will light the BBQ and as if by magic a feast of food is presented for you.
If you wanted to stop at Istuzu Beach for a quick dip, just let the captain know. Or ask to stop at the thermals which are super.

Group Tours
There are a number of tour companies in Dalyan that offer lots of options.  They typically only have 12 people on the boat at a time so you have lots of room.
The 12 Island is a lovely day trip but it goes from Fethiye. You will be collected from your villa or tour office and taken to the boat.
