If the signal is poor upstairs, simply plug in the extender and connect to that WIFI network.

Roaming in Turkey

If you are with Vodafone/O2, you will get a daily charge (circa £6/day) to transfer your UK plan to use in Turkey.  EE is much more expensive, charging by the MB of data.

Turkcell

This is the best way.  We have given you two SIM cards.  Each SIM card has a PIN number on the back.  Swap this in your phone (EE phones are all unlocked) and fill in the PIN number when asked. 

 

This will give you data use.  If you run out, you can top it up at the Turkcell shop opposite the bus station.  It costs £20 for a month.

 

If you want a new one, they will be able to provide you with your own.  You will need your passport.  They register the SIM for you and install it as well.  The whole process takes 10mins.  SIM cards only last 3 months for non-residents in Turkey.
